What is this website about?

We strive to make it easy to connect with the right investors. To do that, we profile thousands of institutional investors, such as VC and PE funds, asset managers, family offices, etc. TeaserClub is a great tool if you are working on venture deals, private equity deals, or small-cap M&A. It’s not a great fit for deals with publicly listed securities or alternative asset classes (crypto, real estate).

What’s up with the name?

“Teaser” is a industry term for a short investment memorandum, typically one or two pages long. It is commonly used to introduce deals to potential investors.

Who is behind this website?

My name is Alexey Serebryakov, and I run this website. I’ve been an investment banker for almost 20 years, helping people buy, sell, launch IPOs and secure financing their companies. You can see some of my projects here. I live in Lisbon, Portugal.

Database questions

What types of investors are in the database?

The database includes institutional investors such as venture capital (VC) firms, private equity (PE) funds, asset managers, family offices, trusts, banks, insurers, venture and M&A teams within corporates. It does not include individuals, such as angel investors.

Can I download investor information?

Yes, you can export search results and create your own tailored investor lists, which can be downloaded for your convenience. Exported data comes in Excel format.

How often is the investor database updated?

The database is updated continuously. We actively crawl public data to capture updates, scanning around 100,000 pages daily to ensure the information remains accurate and relevant.

How accurate is the contact information?

We strive to maintain high accuracy by frequently updating the database. However, due to the evolving nature of the investment industry, some details may change. If you encounter outdated information, please let us know.

How do I report incorrect information?

If you find incorrect or outdated information, you can report it by contacting us via our support email. We appreciate user feedback and work to make necessary updates promptly.

Do you provide support if I need help?

Yes, we provide hands-on support for investor marketing with our team of experienced investment bankers. It is done offline and it comes at an additional cost.

Do you provide templates or guidance?

We are planning to provide additional resources on the website soon, including educational content and guides to support your fundraising efforts. Stay tuned for updates.

Subscription questions

What do I get with my subscription?

Your subscription gets you full access to our investor database, including detailed profiles, contact information, investment preferences, and transaction history.

Do you offer a free trial?

Yes, you can explore the database for as long as you want without a subscription. However, you won’t be able to access investors’ emails during this trial.

Are there any hidden fees?

No, your subscription gives you full access to the database. There are no hidden fees.

Do you offer refunds?

Yes. If the payment was made by mistake, you may be eligible for a refund. Please check our refund policy for more details.

How do I update my billing details?

We don’t store your billing details, Stripe does. You can update your billing details in Stripe by following a link on the subscription status page.

Can I switch my subscription plan?

We have just one subscription plan, so there are no upgrade or downgrade options. You may change the billing cycle, though. Once your susbscription expires, you may pick monthly, quarterly, or yearly billing fo the next cycle.

Can I share my subscription with my team?

Yes, you can share your subscription with up to 3 team members. However, it’s best to use personal accounts for each team member. It just works better that way.
